BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
DSPs will provide direct support and assistance to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Great job for certified nursing assistants and college students- field of study relates to Healthcare Service. Must have experience working in the healthcare services field and be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
REQUIREMENTS:
Written communication and computer skills, a valid Virginia Driver’s license, a licensed U.S. driver with a good driving record during the past three years of continuous driving experience, the ability to attend and pass onsite training classes within the first 30 days of hire. BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
The Group Home Program Manager position supports individuals living in group homes throughout Northern VA. The position involves supervision of staff and direct interventions with individuals and case management. Applicants for Program Manager must have a minimum of one year of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and a Bachelor’s in a Human Services field, including Sociology, Social Work, Psychology, Therapeutic Services, Nursing, or other related fields. Experience working in the community with persons with disabilities REQUIRED. Salaried position – commensurate upon education and experience.

REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in a human services field with a minimum of two (2) years of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (ID/DD), including demonstrated competency in skills training and assessing residents’ needs. Must have the ability to manage and organize a large household, meet state licensure requirements, and supervise staff.
Alternatively, a minimum of three (3) years of experience in the ID/DD field providing leadership, program development and implementation, direct supervision, and ongoing monitoring (including observation and evaluation of staff performance, service plan implementation, and client interactions) may be considered.
Strong written, verbal, and computer skills are essential. Must possess a valid Virginia driver’s license with a good driving record for at least three consecutive years. The ability to attend and successfully complete required onsite training within the first 30 days of employment is mandatory. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of criminal and background investigations.
